Über mich
PD Dr.-Ing. Stefan Göbel (Diplom, Dissertation und Habilitation in der Informatik an der TU Darmstadt) ist ausgewiesener Experte für Serious Games mit über 20 Jahren Erfahrung im Bereich der angewandten Forschung. In dieser Zeit hat er eine Vielzahl von Projekten auf europäischer, nationaler und regionaler Ebene initiiert und koordiniert, darunter u.a. das Wissens- und Technologietransfer-Projekt WTT Serious Games, in dem die Charakteristika und Qualität von Serious Games und deren Nutzbarkeit in den Bereichen Bildung und Gesundheit im Dialog mit allen Beteiligten im Serious Games Markt (Entwickler, Dienstleister, Forschung und Anwender) bedarfsorientiert erforscht und daraus Handlungsempfehlungen für die Gestaltung und Nutzung von Serious Games erarbeitet werden.
In Kooperation mit 42 Personen aus 37Einrichtungen hat Dr. Göbel das Serious Games Metadatenformat (SG-MDF) konzipiert und als DIN Standard (DIN/SPEC 91380) umgesetzt . Auf dieser semantischen Grundlage zur Beschreibung von Serious Games hat die Serious Games Gruppe an der TU Darmstadt das „Serious Games Information Center (SG-IC)“ entwickelt.
Im Rahmen des Wissens- und Technologietransfer-Vorhabens WTT Serious Games wurde ein RAL Gütezeichen konzipiert, das die Identifikation und Auszeichnung von „qualitativ wertvollen“ Serious Games ermöglicht.
Stefan Göbel ist Initiator der GameDays (Science meets Business, Öffentlichkeit), die seit 2005 jährlich an der TU Darmstadt ausgerichtet werden. Zudem ist Stefan im Steering Board der Joint Conference on Serious Games und Sprecher der FG Entertainment Computing der Gesellschaft für Informatik.
