Über mich

2006 führte mich meine Faszination für das ostasiatische Brettspiel Go nach Südkorea. Dort promovierte ich in Go-Studien und war von 2015 bis 2024 als Professorin am Fachbereich Go-Studien der Myongji University in Lehre und Forschung tätig. Darüber hinaus unterrichtete ich an Go-Schulen Kinder vom Kindergartenalter bis zur Mittelschule und beschäftigte mich intensiv mit Go als Spiel-, Lern- und Wissenspraxis. Nach meiner Rückkehr in meine Heimatstadt Berlin war ich 2025–2026 als Senior Research Fellow am Max-Planck-Institut für Wissenschaftsgeschichte tätig, wo ich vor allem an der Übersetzung eines Universitätslehrbuchs zur Geschichte des Go in Ostasien arbeitete.

Forschungsschwerpunkte

Didaktik, Kultur, Geschichte und Verbreitung des Brettspiels Go sowie Übersetzung koreanischer Go-Fachliteratur ins Englische und Deutsche.
